Karine Kormann: Whisky unveiled: The chemistry behind every sip

Dr Karine Kormann is head of R&D efforts in Natural Products Extraction at Robertet. She collaborates on a daily basis with Flavorists, Perfumers and Production to promote new natural tailor-made extracts with a special focus on green chemistry. Karine is a passion driven chemist who started her career 20 years ago with Robertet, working in Flavors Quality Control Department and R&D Process Labs. Over the years, she gained a solid expertise in designing innovative multi-folded extraction / separation methodologies. Analyzing chemical fingerprints from natural raw materials is also part of her skill.
